1.The role of the toggle plate

The toggle plate of the jaw crusher is a relatively simple part, but its function is very important. Usually there are three functions; one is to transmit power, and the transmitted power is sometimes even larger than the crushing force; the second is to act as a fuse. When the crushing chamber falls into the non-broken material, the toggle plate is broken and destroyed first, thus protecting other parts of the machine. No damage occurs; the third is to adjust the size of the discharge opening.

2.The design of the toggle plate

When the machine is working, the toggle plate and its supporting linings are not well lubricated, and the dust falls in, so there is actually a dry friction and abrasive wear between the toggle plate and their pads. Thus, the high load pressure on the toggle plate causes the toggle plate and the toggle gasket to wear quickly and has a very low service life. Therefore, the structural design of the toggle plate should take into account the important role of the machine and the working environment.

3.The type of toggle plate

According to the connection type of the toggle plate and the toggle gasket, it can be divided into two types: a rolling type and a sliding type. A large compressive force is transmitted between the toggle plate and the toggle gasket, and subjected to periodic impact loads. The wear is faster under repeated impact squeezing, especially the sliding type is more serious. In order to improve transmission efficiency, our company reduces wear and prolongs its service life. The toggle plate head is cylindrical and the gasket is flat. Since the toggle plate surfaces of the two ends of the toggle plate are the same cylindrical surface, when the gasket surfaces at both ends of the toggle plate are parallel to each other, the force of the toggle plate will be transmitted along the same diameter of the cylindrical surface of the bracket and perpendicular to the surface of the gasket. During the operation of the machine, the swing angle of the movable jaw is very small, so that the angle of the surface of the toggle gasket supported at both ends of the toggle plate is small, so the pure rolling can be maintained between the toggle plate and the toggle gasket during the operation of the machine.
